Jason D. Bloom, MD, FACS

AIAM Trainings' Medical Director

Dr. Jason D. Bloom is an award-winning, Ivy-League trained, double board-certified facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Bloom has worked at some of the most elite and renowned institutions in the country. His extensive experience and reputable training provide the foundation for his excellent technical skills and surgical aesthetic. He is dedicated to the treatment of patients with both cosmetic concerns and reconstructive problems of the head and neck. After growing up in Michigan, Dr. Bloom completed his undergraduate B.S. degree with high distinction in Biopsychology & Cognitive Sciences at the University of Michigan. He then attended the University of Michigan Medical School, where he graduated Cum Laude and earned admission into the prestigious and elite medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), as one of the very top students in his class. Dr. Bloom completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology: Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a fellowship in specialized facial plastic surgery training at the NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Bloom is one of the few surgeons in the country who has gone through such rigorous and prestigious training, including board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and a fellowship and board certification with the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Bloom has comprehensive experience in face lifting, rhinoplasty, ear surgery, eyelid rejuvenation, brow, and forehead aesthetic surgery as well as extensive training in non-surgical treatments including Botox, injectable fillers, and laser therapies. Currently, Dr. Bloom is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology: Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and a Clinical Assistant Professor (Adjunct) of Dermatology at the Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Bloom’s philosophy is to provide each patient with a specialized treatment plan based on his or her individual needs, stressing a natural, refreshed and rejuvenated look. Dr. Bloom then uses his training and knowledge of the both time tested and cutting-edge procedures to provide his patients with safe, reliable and long-lasting treatments. Above all else, Dr. Bloom has a passion for his profession and his wonderful family! Dr. Bloom is our newest addition to the AIAM Faculty, and we are extremely honored to have him on board as our Medical Director!

Anil Rajani, MD

Key Opinion Leader

Dr. Anil Rajani attended medical school at The University of Western Ontario, graduating with honors. Prior to that he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University. He completed his residency in Canada before coming to The United States.

Dr. Rajani has participated with the leading cosmetic centers in the United States and abroad and has over 15 years of experience in the aesthetic field. He is an expert Trainer and Lecturer for NovaThreads and Cosmofrance (the makers of the innovative Dermasculpt Microcannulas).

Specializing in the training of health care professionals, Dr. Rajani educates his students in the use of combination procedures and injectable treatments with an eye towards a natural look. His patients have been able to defer or even avoid surgical procedures altogether after receiving treatment with his Liquid Facelift procedure, combining fillers, collagen stimulators, PRF, PDO Threads and now PlasmaSculpt. Using the latest in revolutionary technologies, this combination has helped improve and enhance his patients’ skin, resulting in more youthful and natural looking appearances. Dr. Rajani is recognized among his colleagues as being an expert in minimally-invasive cosmetic treatments.

Dr. Rajani has a very loyal following of patients around the world who trust his expertise when it comes to maintaining their youthful appearance and radiant skin. His knowledge of Erbium Yag, CO2 lasers, and radio-frequency skin tightening platforms keep them coming back.

Dr. Anil Rajani, MD lectures at various patient education forums and teaches at medical conferences as well. He has been featured on ABC, CBS, and FOX affiliates speaking on the advances in cosmetic medical procedures. He can also be heard on local northwest radio stations.

Dr. Anil Rajani is a Board-Certified Medical Doctor. He specializes in minimally Invasive Aesthetic Medicine. He is a sought-after lecturer and trainer as well as an early adopter of the Microcannula injection technique. Having performed thousands of liquid facelift procedures, he has helped countless patients avoid or delay surgical procedures.

Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS

Head Trainer

Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS, received her nursing degree in Indiana and has been a Registered Nurse for over 24 years. She has experience in women’s health prior to transitioning to aesthetic nursing. She has been an aesthetic nurse for over 14 years. She has extensive training and experience in performing state-of-the-art laser treatments for the face and body, Botox and dermal filler injections, body contouring, skin tightening, photo facials, and has a vast knowledge of medical-grade products.

She is also trained in providing informative consultations to clients seeking customized treatments. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals with safety in mind.

She has been an AMI trainer for Allergan for over 13 years and has trained some of the top Dermatologists, Plastics Surgeons, and Health Care providers all over the United States and Canada. She was one of the first nurses to train on PDO sutures for soft tissue re-approximation, over 6 years ago, and PRF and PRF EZGel in the United States and Canada.

Shanna is licensed in approximately 38 states across the United States. She is a member of ISPAN and a certified aesthetic nurse specialist (CANS) as well as Faculty for the Los Angeles Multi-Specialty Cosmetic Academy Meeting. Shanna works in San Francisco with Dr. David W. Kim, a facial plastic/ENT, where she has been seeing her patients for over 9 years, but resides in Austin, TX.

Ann Elizabeth Watwood, NMD

Dr. Ann Elizabeth Watwood is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor who specializes in dermal fillers, neuromodulators, laser resurfacing, aesthetic medicine, and bio-identical hormone therapy. She is certified in advanced laser skin care treatments and advanced injectable therapies.

She is a graduate from Arizona State University with a BA in Anthropology and received her medical degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member of the Naturopathic Board of Aesthetic Medicine in the State of Arizona, The American Academy of Anti-aging and Aesthetic Medicine, and the AZ Naturopathic Medical Association.

Dr. Watwood is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal health and wellness. It is her mission to provide her patients with cutting edge anti-aging and aesthetic medical treatments; to practice and promote health and wellness both internally and externally; and to educate all her patients on how they can take control of their health. By addressing all aspects of a person’s life in the treatment, she can help people to increase their health so they feel better, look better, have more energy, and are happier. Dr. Watwood wants to help every man and women look and feel his/her best.
