WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Comprehensive PDO Threads training course on the basic “Mesh” and “Lyft” techniques.
These new minimally invasive procedures consist of using absorbable PDO (Polydioxanone) threads to achieve safe, in-office tightening and repositioning of the skin. The procedure requires no surgical skills and delivers great results with virtually no complications!
The threads are placed in the superficial tissues and can be used anywhere on the face and body. The procedure is performed in-office without any anesthesia. The treated area then mounts a controlled inflammatory response to the threads to provide the desired effect.
The focus of our PDO Threads training course is on hands-on injections so that upon completion each participant will have the necessary skills to master both MESH and LYFT injection techniques fully.
Each participant will have enough time to try various threads (Smooth, Twist, Barbs) on one or more areas (depending on time). Participants must bring their own model for the injections. PDO threads which to be used during training will be supplied by AIAM.
COURSE PROFILE:
- Start the day with a complimentary catered breakfast
- 30 Min lecture/didactic on PDO Threads
- 1 hour of 1-on-1 hands-on practice with Smooth, Twist, & Barb Threads
- Observation of peers’ hands-on practice
- Catered lunch (If Full Class)
- Comprehensive course workbook detailing theory and guidelines
- Certification of completion

For advanced injectors ONLY! (A prerequisite is required.)
A ‘molded’ PDO Threads training course on advanced PDO Threads techniques. The molded PDO Threads training will be provided for advanced injectors only, due to the learning curve associated with the ‘sterility & application’ process. Several types of threads sold by distributors in the market are packaged in a preloaded format. But the molded PDO Threads must be loaded onto a cannula and then treatment can be provided.
This new and minimally invasive molded PDO Threads procedure consists of using absorbable PDO (Polydioxanone) Threads to achieve safe, in-office treatments for your patients. The procedure requires no surgical skills and delivers great results with virtually no complications! The procedure is performed in-office and with little (or no) anesthesia.
The focus of our PDO Threads training course is on hands-on injections; so that upon completion, each participant will have the necessary skills to fully master molded PDO Threads techniques.
Each participant will have enough time to try 2 types of threads (Molded & Smooth) on one or more areas (depending on the timeframe). All the PDO Threads used during training will be supplied by AIAM. (Participants must bring their own model for the hands-on sessions!)
