COURSE OBJECTIVES & OVERVIEW:
An AIAM inspired therapeutic event developed to create a combined learning initiative on the use and application of Advanced-Molded PDO Threads + Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF). This specified training platform will include a focus on the NEW technique of ‘reverse vectoring’ with molded threads + a focus on the NEW ‘PRF COOL & HEAT’ devices w/the use of the NEW 100% autologous injectable gel!
COURSE PROFILE:
- Start the day with a complimentary catered breakfast.
- 30 minute lecture/didactic on PDO Threads + PRF.
- 90 minutes of 1-on-1 hands-on practice.

COURSE CAVEAT: This course is constructed specifically for ‘advanced PDO Threads practitioners’ (MUST have sustained thread lifting experience) + NEW &/or existing experienced PRF practitioners (MUST also have 1+ years of sustained Microcannula experience). All registrants should anticipate a concise vetting process.
FULL COURSE DETAILS:
1. MOLDED TRAINING
A ‘molded’ PDO Threads training course on advanced PDO Threads techniques. The molded PDO Threads training will be provided for advanced injectors only, due to the learning curve associated with the ‘sterility & application’ process.
This new and minimally invasive molded PDO Threads procedure consists of using absorbable PDO (Polydioxanone) Threads to achieve safe, in-office treatments for your patients. The procedure requires no surgical skills and delivers great results with virtually no complications! The procedure is performed in-office and with little (or no) anesthesia.
The focus of our PDO Threads training course is to facilitate hands-on injections (w/ the use of reverse vectoring techniques) so that upon completion, each participant will have the necessary skills to fully master (molded) PDO Threads techniques.
Each participant will have enough time to try multiple threads (Smooth, Twist & Molded) on a variety of areas (depending on the time frame). All the PDO Threads used during training will be supplied by AIAM. (Participants must bring their own model for the hands-on sessions!)

2. PRF TRAINING
How to harvest PRF and use it as a 100% natural dermal filler (or mixed with dermal fillers) and reinject the solution through a blunt microcannula. How to inject dermal fillers through a blunt microcannula (as opposed to using a sharp needle).
WHAT IS PRF?
The Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) technique uses the most advanced Blood Concentrate technology to generate a complex Fibrin Matrix rich in Platelets, Leukocytes, and Mesenchymal stem cells for tissue regeneration purposes (skin rejuvenation, tissue augmentation, hair regrowth, etc.).
This 100% autologous rejuvenation technique is a substantial progress from the well-established PRP (or Platelet-Rich Plasma) technique as it enables the harvest of more cells, in higher concentration and better vitality; allowing for a longer and more gradual release of growth factors (constant release of growth factors for 10-12 days with PRF versus only a few minutes with PRP).
PLATELET RICH FIBRIN (GEL) is specifically defined as the combination of Platelet Rich Fibrin + Self-Assembled ALBUMIN. i.e., heated Plasma Gel + PRF Concentrate at a 2:1 ratio. Self-Assembled ALBUMIN are the most abundant proteins in the blood, constituting nearly 60% of blood plasma proteins. The mixture of the Albumin-Rich Plasma and the growth factors of PRF create an organic gel concentrate that promotes ‘skin rejuvenation & volumizing’.
