WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

For advanced injectors ONLY! (A prerequisite is required.)

A ‘molded’ PDO Threads training course on advanced PDO Threads techniques. The molded PDO Threads training will be provided for advanced injectors only, due to the learning curve associated with the ‘sterility & application’ process. Several types of threads sold by distributors in the market are packaged in a preloaded format but molded PDO Threads must be loaded onto a cannula and then, treatment can be provided.

This new and minimally invasive molded PDO Threads procedure consists of using absorbable PDO (Polydioxanone) Threads to achieve safe, in-office treatments for your patients. The procedure requires no surgical skills and delivers great results with virtually no complications! The procedure is performed in-office and with little (or no) anesthesia.

The focus of our PDO Threads training course is on hands-on injections; so that upon completion, each participant will have the necessary skills to fully master molded PDO Threads techniques.

Each participant will have enough time to try 2 types of threads (Molded & Smooth) on one or more areas (depending on the time frame). All PDO Threads used during training will be supplied by AIAM. (Participants must bring their own model for the hands-on sessions!)

Dr. Rajani will be conducting a live demonstration for 1- hour on the Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Applications in combination with PDO Threads. The demonstration will be hands OFF but each participant will receive a certificate of completion.

Social engagement

REGISTRATION PREREQUISITE (must meet at least 1 listed criterion):

• A health care provider has been trained specifically in the use of PDO Threads and have used 18G Barb Threads consistently for at least 1 year. (Proof of certification required.)
